The idea

Too often, young people encounter important information, professional networks, college exposure, career opportunities or life-changing experiences only because someone happens to introduce them.
KAAF was created around a different idea: access to possibility should be intentional.
Young people deserve opportunities to discover what exists, understand how systems work, meet people who can expand their thinking and experience environments that help them imagine themselves differently.
That belief became the foundation for KAAF.
Today
The goal is not simply participation. The goal is advancement.
Today, KAAF is building programs and partnerships that connect young people with opportunities spanning education, leadership, professional development, wellness, economic mobility and experiences beyond the classroom.
